Five Really Portable Laptop Brands

With the release of lot of Laptop and Notebook brands, it is becoming difficult for users to choose the brand which really means portable. Manufacturers are now trying to focus more on the portability issues. Portability depends much on the lightness of your laptop. Along with portability, performance is also desired. But performance and portability are a compromise.
Here is a list of five laptop brands which are really light.

Fujitsu LifeBook P1610
With weight of only one kilogram Fujitsu has a screen 8.9" with touch. It has a Core Solo U1400 1.2 GHz, 512 MB RAM, 30 GB hard drive. The most appealing thing is that the screen can revolve all around 360 degrees.

The main problem which Fujitsu faces is that with these specifications, it limits the performance if the machine is running Windows Vista. But it can be considered as a good choice for users who want to keep in touch with other people on the go. Also users of Microsoft Word or Excel can also consider it as a choice.

HP Compaq Business Notebook nc2400
Hewlett Packard is another brand which has become very much famous among laptop and notebook users. Most users prefer it because of thier interactive design features.

HP has now unveiled its new business Notebook which is extremely light in weight. nc2400 weighs only 1.29 kilograms with good technical specs i.e., Core Solo U1400 at 1.2 GHz and 512 MB of RAM.
The "miniaturization" entails some losses, the lack of touchpad (replaced by a joystick) and scroll button, and less connection ports.

Dell Latitude D420

It has a good sensitivity in wireless mode, interactive and proper design which makes Dell Latitude a good compromise between size and power.

Lenovo Thinkpad X60s
